Who we are
Cura is a digital wellness product that helps people build healthier phone habits through physical wooden cards and incremental AI coaching. This website is operated at curakit.io.
We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.
What we collect
Waitlist sign-ups. When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address. Nothing else — no name, no phone number.
App usage data (when the app launches). The Cura app will collect data about your phone usage — specifically which apps you block, session durations, and unlock patterns. This data is used solely to generate your personalised AI coaching insights. It is processed on-device where possible and never sold.
Orders. When you place an order for a Cura Kit, we will collect your name, shipping address, and payment details. Payment is handled by a third-party provider — we never store your card number.
How we use it
- Email address — to notify you when your kit is ready to ship, and to send occasional product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Usage data — to generate your weekly AI insight report and personalised coaching suggestions.
- Order data — to fulfil and deliver your physical order.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond what is described above.
Third-party services
- Loops (loops.so) — manages our email list and sends waitlist communications. Your email is stored on their servers. Loops Privacy Policy →

We do not share your data with any other third parties without your explicit consent.
Your rights (GDPR)
If you are based in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion — request that we delete your personal data.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent — unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the link in any email we send.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@curakit.io. We will respond within 30 days.
Data retention
We retain your email address for as long as you are subscribed to our list. If you unsubscribe, your email is deleted within 30 days.
App usage data will be retained for 12 months from the date of collection, after which it is automatically deleted.
Order data is retained for 7 years for accounting and legal compliance purposes.
